Impacts: Big or Little

To my Big:

Thank you.

Thank you for inviting me to Eick and starting our friendship.

Thank you for the bow at Big/Little reveal which made me feel like I was already a part of the family.

Thank you for being the smiling face I saw after unwrapping you.

Thank you for loving me even though I never dance.

Thank you for giving me a piggy back while you do all of the dancing.

Thank you for helping me study for my tests because you’ve been through it before and know how stressful it may be.

Thank you for the countless girls nights and not getting mad at me for falling asleep during the first fifteen minutes of the movie.

Thank you for encouraging me to be confident with myself. You’ve shown me to love myself because I am perfectly fine the way I am.

Thank you for bringing me to your house filled with warmth, a whole lot of love, and your mom’s infamous Mac & Cheese.

Thank you for never forcing me to step out of my comfort zone, but showing me how.

Thank you for being brutally honest with me but at the same time teaching me to defend myself because surprisingly, I’m right at times.

Thank you for being you. Words cannot describe (and I won’t even try) how much I will miss seeing you randomly on campus with your notorious “LITTLE!” scream. Believe it or not, I’ll miss it, even if my face always turns bright red.

To my Little Nug:

Thank you for showing me what it’s like to have a younger sister.

Thank you for allowing me to take care of you when you’re sick.

Thank you for letting me be the first one you call when you need someone to talk to.

Thank you for being shorter than me (sorry, I had to).

Thank you for introducing to Big & I just how amazing honey mustard is, especially with mozzarella sticks (just try it, people).

Thank you for dealing with me and my crazy schedule.

Thank you for our hangouts outside of the Ed Building where we do work because you know I'm not about the lib life.

Thank you for always making me laugh with your random comments, they bring me happiness (I still have that card, you know the one I'm talking about).

Thank you for loving dogs even though you’re a cat person.

Thank you for always answering my texts/phone calls.

Thank you for the funny snap chats I am privileged to receive daily.

Thank you for thinking of me as someone who you can look up to, that’s the biggest compliment I could ever get.

Thank you BOTH for helping me mature, loving me to no end, demonstrating friendship, always making me feel valued, and being the non-spiciest spice fam I’ve ever met. I’ll love you both forever, that’s a promise. :)
